Who we are

This website, warandyourwallet.com, is run by Peter Glancy, the author of the War and Your Wallet series. Peter is responsible for any personal data collected here. You can contact him at [email protected].

What we collect

If you join the list, we collect your first name and email address, and whether you ticked the box to hear about Peter Glancy's other books. That is all we ask for.

The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.

Why we use it

We use your details to tell you when a new War and Your Wallet volume or the primer is published, and to greet you by name. If, and only if, you ticked the separate box, we also tell you about Peter Glancy's other books. We rely on your consent for both, which you give by joining and by ticking that box, and you can withdraw either at any time. We never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

Who holds it

Email addresses are stored by Kit, the email service we use to send the list. Kit processes the data on our behalf and may store it outside the UK; its own privacy policy explains how it protects data. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

How long we keep it

We keep your address until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we will remove you.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
